I had the opportunity of spending the summer of 2020 as a Machine Learning Research Intern at the Bosch Center for AI in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. My supervisors were Filipe Condessa and Anit Kumar Sahu and I worked on several aspects of robust and safe deep learning.
I spent two weeks in the summer of 2017 attending the 2017 Summer School on Multibody Systems and Nonlinear Dynamics, conducted by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. The summer school focused mainly on the state-of-the-art in high-performance computing.
I spent the summer of 2014 interning at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. My supervisor was Prof. Ponnuthurai Nagaratnam Suganthan. Together, we worked on developing new techniques for large-scale optimization problems and Genetic Programming.
I interned at the Testing Department of the Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation (CESC) in the summer of 2013. The main thrust areas were fault detection in commercial power lines using Optical Time-Domain Reflectometry and comprehending and handling SCADA-based power systems.
